We were at the Castex twice in September and absolutely loved it.  It is perfectly located, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped (although I think the floors could be a bit cleaner).  The cellar breakfast room is small, but the food is fresh and plentiful.  Maybe a rearrangement of that space would make it easier to move around.  Most importantly, the staff was so very friendly and knowledgeable.  We would definitely recommend the Castex to anyone visiting Paris.
